Fisher Stevens is an actor, producer and
director. He made his motion picture debut at 16 in the horror film The
Burning and his Broadway debut at 18 in the Tony Award-winning play Torch
Song Trilogy. Fisher co-founded the New York-based theater company NAKED
ANGELS in 1986 for which he has produced and directed numerous plays.
His first directorial project was a short film Call
of the Wylie (1995) starring Amy Irving and Patrick Breen. After
the film's successful premiere in competition at the 1995 Sundance Film
Festival, he and his producer, John Penotti, founded GreeneStreet Films.
He has since produced and directed major GreeneStreet features.

Diggs and Jolene Blalock.
He is currently executive producing:
• A Prairie Home Companion, directed
by Robert Altman and starring Meryl Streep, Lindsay Lohan, Kevin Kline,
Woody Harrelson, John C. Reilly, Lily Tomlin, Maya Rudolph and Garrison
Keillor.

directed by Boaz Yakin, starring Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning, and
distributed by MGM.
• Piñero, written and directed
by writer/ Leon Ichaso, starring Benjamin Bratt, and released domestically
by Miramax Films. Winner of three ALMA awards.
He has executive produced:
• In the Bedroom, directed by Todd
Field, starring Sissy Spacek, Marisa Tomei, Tom Wilkinson and Nick Stahl,
and released domestically by Miramax Films. Nominated for five Academy
Awards, including Best Picture.
• Swimfan, a #1 box office hit directed
by John Polson, starring Jesse Bradford and Erika Christensen, and released
by Twentieth Century Fox.
• The Chateau,
directed by Jesse Peretz, starring Paul Rudd (“The Cider House Rules,”
“Clueless”), and distributed by IFC.
• Lisa Picard is Famous, an official
selection of the 2000 Cannes International Film Festival directed by Griffin
Dunne.
In 2002, Fisher directed his first feature film, GreeneStreet's:
